Marlene&Martin, Orangery at Schönbrunn in Vienna

Wine and wine gardens are a significant part of Marlene and Martin’s life. They first met at a wine festival they each were attending with good friends. Marlene’s family has a winery and so they decided to do the photo-shoot at Orangery in Schönbrunn Vienna, which has a small wine garden and a magnificent view. Orangery garden was laid out at Schönbrunn in 1754, which included a hothouse for overwintering bitter orange trees. This winter garden was also used for imperial court festivities; on a winter festivity in 1786 Mozart conducted his Singspiel “The Impresario” here.
